Getting the heat where it matters If you’re trying to simulate a desert highway or a hot engine manifold, you can’t just warm up the air. That doesn’t tell you anything. You need power density. We use high-wattage quartz elements because they push heat into the electronic casing. By tweaking the voltage and wattage, we can dial in the exact amount of stress needed to find out where a component finally gives up. Just a heads-up: if you’re pushing high wattage, make sure your chamber’s ventilation can handle it. Otherwise, you might accidentally fry your own test sensors. Built for the “Shake and Bake” Rapid cycling kills cheap equipment. To stop filaments from burning out, we use heavy-wall quartz glass. The beauty of the shortwave spectrum is the speed. You can go from room temperature to 150°C in a matter of seconds. It’s almost instant. Plus, we offer a handful of connector options so these lamps don’t vibrate loose during long-term tests. There’s nothing worse than a terminal arcing and killing your rig right in the middle of a run. Closing the durability gap Here’s the thing about standard convection ovens: they’re too slow. They ramp up like a lazy Sunday afternoon. But a cold start in the dead of winter followed by a hard drive isn’t lazy—it’s a shock to the system. Our IR lamps hit the surface directly. This forces your solder joints and capacitors to expand and contract fast. It’s the quickest way to find a weak spot in your PCB layout before those parts ever hit the assembly line. Better to find the flaw now than in a customer’s driveway.
