Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the power behind it: 400V and 2500W. That rating was chosen on purpose to push high current through a short, lightweight element. The payoff? Lightning-fast warm-up and steady temperature control, even when you’re cycling on and off all day. The 300mm tube keeps the heat right where you want it—tight and focused. That means you can fit the heat into a smaller machine without wasting energy on areas that don’t need it. Running at high voltage also drops the current, which keeps wiring losses low. Just remember, that 400V means your control gear and insulation need to be rated for it.
Material & Design
Inside that quartz tube, you’ve got a carbon fiber filament living in a halogen atmosphere. This combo keeps the filament clean at scorching temperatures, so the output stays consistent, even during long runs. The halogen cycle is the secret sauce. It lets the lamp run hotter without the glass blackening up fast, which means stable infrared output and predictable results, run after run. And that R7s connector?
