Carbon Infrared Heaters: The Heat You Need, Where You Need It
We build carbon heaters for engineers who need serious heat—focused, powerful, and packed into a tight spot. These quartz-tube infrared emitters come alive fast, so they’re the go-to choice when your industrial line can’t afford to wait. Think PET blowing, thermoforming, drying lines—places where the heat has to show up and deliver, right now.
What makes them tick?
Here’s the thing: carbon heaters are built for high power density. We’re talking 2500W at 400V. That voltage choice keeps the current manageable over long runs, so you don’t have to oversize your wiring or worry about voltage drop. And the 300mm length? It’s all about keeping things compact. You get a ton of wattage in a small footprint, which means it slips into tight machine spaces without a fight. It’s fast. Really fast. Heat-up is almost instant, so when the line starts, you’re not waiting around. The heat is on the moment you need it.
Built to last, built to perform
Inside, you’ve got a carbon filament sealed in a quartz tube. Quartz handles sudden temperature shifts like a champ and keeps the output steady. Halogen gas inside the tube protects the filament, so it lasts longer and keeps emitting consistently. We also added a reflective coating to push more energy forward. More usable heat hits your target, and less is wasted. And for easy installation, it comes with an R7s base. That means you can wire it straight into standard fixtures—no hassle, just a direct, drop-in replacement.
Where they shine
These heaters are at their best when you need intense, localized heat. In PET blowing, for example, they preheat molds in a flash, which helps shorten cycle times. The compact design makes integration a breeze, and the R7s connector means maintenance is quicker, too. Just keep in mind: with that kind of power, you need to plan for proper cooling and electrical support. It’s all about keeping ambient temps in check and making sure your connections stay solid.
