We build these 220V tubes specifically for the tough stuff. Instead of your run-of-the-mill quartz lamp, we use a carbon filament tucked inside high-purity quartz. It’s designed to hit that sweet spot of medium-to-long wave emission.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Why carbon?&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here’s the thing: carbon just behaves better. At 220V, you get a steady flow of heat, but you don&amp;rsquo;t have to crank the temperature as high as you would with tungsten.&#xA;The best part? It heats up fast. Really fast. You aren&amp;rsquo;t standing around waiting for the machine to catch up to your target temp. Plus, because carbon is tougher, the filament doesn&amp;rsquo;t get brittle and snap after a few hundred heat cycles. It just lasts.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The gold plating isn&amp;rsquo;t for show&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;You&amp;rsquo;ll notice only half the tube is plated in gold. If your shop is full of heavy oil mist or corrosive fumes, the plating will start to wear down.
